Breaking New Ground: A Fresh Start for the James Family
Seneca James, a 32-year-old single mother of six—Seneca, Savion, Monica, Christopher Jr., Krishaun, Miracle, and Ralphael Jr.—was born in Wake County and raised in Angier, where she also spent time in foster care. Now, she and her family call Lillington home. “My children mean the world to me. I call them my sweet six,” she shares.
The event was held on November 3, was attended by Spring Lake Mayor Sona Cooper, Pastor Andrew Taylor, and several members of the Habitat Board of Directors. Pastor Taylor delivered a heartfelt invocation, and the ceremony concluded with moving words from Seneca herself:
“I am beyond grateful for this incredible blessing for my family. Without God, none of this would have been possible. Thank you to everyone who chose us.”
