DUNN---Habitat for Humanity of Harnett County has truly made a difference this year.
As we recap our fiscal year that ended on June 30, some accomplishments we are most proud of are:
- Two housing projects are now underway. One home is near completion in Spring Lake, and the other is in Erwin. Habitat anticipates beginning a third house in the near future. The selection process for homeownership is well underway.
- Three critical repair projects were completed. Two in the Dunn area and the other in the western part of the county. These projects were rebuilding a deck and two ramps for seniors and a disabled individual. Habitat would like to thank these volunteers for their help: Matt Willis, Steve Pierce, Kenneth Snipes, and Ethan Hayes.
