Habitat for Humanity of Harnett County is looking for an energetic, people-focused leader to manage our ReStore. It's a chance to put your retail and management experience to work for a mission that builds homes and strengthens our community.
About the Role
The ReStore Manager runs the store day-to-day and reports to the Executive Director. You'll drive sales of donated and purchased merchandise, keep donation intake running smoothly, and build a welcoming, customer-first culture that reflects Habitat's values.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, training and scheduling ReStore retail staff and volunteers
- Pricing and merchandising items to meet sales goals
- Keeping the store, dock and storage areas clean, safe and secure
- Helping plan marketing, advertising and social media to grow donations, sales and volunteer involvement
- Preparing monthly operations reports and working with the Executive Director on the store budget
- Building partnerships with donors, community groups and other area ReStores
What We're Looking For
- A heart for Habitat's mission and a commitment to excellent customer and donor service
- Experience managing people in a retail setting
- Strong communication, organization and time-management skills
- A flexible, creative problem-solver who adapts well to change
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid NC driver's license and a clean driving record
- Availability on Saturdays and some evenings
- Familiarity with Harnett County is a plus
Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, use carts and dollies, and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
